Raid on Utica Homes Unravels Large Drug Network

Utica, NY – On June 12, 2024, Utica Police investigators from the Special Investigations Unit concluded an extensive investigation into narcotics sale and distribution following the execution of several search warrants.

With the support of the Utica Police Patrol Division, Oneida County Sheriff Office Narcotics Unit, and METRO SWAT, the search warrants led to the arrest of Joshua Robinson, 36, of Utica. Robinson faces multiple charges, including three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug in the 4th degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell methamphetamine, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance/Narcotic, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree involving diluents, and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree involving scales.

During the search, authorities seized cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. Additional arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues.
