Linden Police Investigate Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash on S. Park Ave

LINDEN, NJ — A fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on the 1400 block of S. Park Ave is currently under investigation by the Linden Police Department. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 6:45 PM on the evening of June 14, 2024.

Preliminary reports indicate that a Porsche Boxer traveling south on S. Park Ave lost control, veering into the northbound lane. The vehicle struck a utility pole before continuing off the roadway and colliding with a parked cargo trailer. The driver, a 41-year-old man from North Brunswick and the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

S. Park Ave remains closed between Bedle Place and the entrance to the NJ Turnpike as the investigation continues. The Linden Police Traffic Bureau is leading the investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Investigator Michael Rozycki at (908) 474-8505.
