Columbus, OH – On Sunday, Columbus Division of Police responded to a domestic violence call on the 4600 block of Parkwick Drive.
Upon arrival, officers found 19-year-old Brooke Devinney injured and unresponsive. Medics transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 8:45 AM from blunt force trauma injuries. Ms. Devinney was pregnant at the time of her death.
Officers observed a suspect fleeing the scene but were initially unable to apprehend him. After an extensive search, 23-year-old Devon Blair, who had active warrants for domestic violence, was taken into custody and charged with murder.
