Delaware State Police Seek Witnesses to Shooting at Wilmington Bar

Wilmington, DE — Delaware State Police are actively seeking witnesses to a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at Sweet Daddy’s Bar and Grill.

At approximately 12:31 p.m. on June 15, troopers responded to a late-reported shooting at the bar, located at 3806 Governor Printz Boulevard. Preliminary investigations reveal that around 1:30 a.m. on the same day, gunfire was exchanged between unidentified individuals in the parking lot, causing damage to an unoccupied vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing its investigation. Authorities urge anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has relevant information to contact Sergeant C. Hevelow at (302) 365-8442.
