Early Morning Burglary on Minnesota Avenue Ends in Arrest

Washington, D.C. – Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the burglary of a business in Northeast D.C.

On Saturday, at approximately 4:48 a.m., two suspects forced open the entrance of an establishment in the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. Once inside, the suspects stole property. Responding officers apprehended one of the suspects shortly after.

James Cooper, 53, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary Two.
