The Maryland Lottery announced that scratch-off players from Aberdeen and Bethesda claimed two of the largest prizes this past week, each winning $250,000. These winners visited the Lottery office in Baltimore to officially claim their earnings.

In addition to the top scratch-off prizes, Maryland Lottery games, including Powerball, Bonus Match 5, and Pick 5, produced five other major wins, each worth at least $50,000.

During the week ending June 16, the Lottery distributed nearly $37 million in total prizes. This payout included 35 tickets valued at $10,000 or more that were either sold or redeemed across the state, marking a lucrative week for many players.
