Traffic Alert: Colonial Drive Bridge Closure for Essential Maintenance

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – Attention Manchester Township residents: The Colonial Drive bridge will be temporarily closed for essential maintenance starting Monday, June 17. The Ocean County Engineering Department expects to complete the work by 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, after which the road will reopen.

Barricades will be placed at State Highway 37 and State Highway 70 to prevent entry into the closed section of Colonial Drive. Manchester Township police officers will be stationed at these locations to permit local traffic access to Huntington Drive, Manchester Town Hall and Library, and the First Aid Building.

Residents are advised to exercise caution in the area and adhere to all signage and police instructions.
