Baltimore Officers Seize Loaded Handgun in Assault Call

Baltimore, MD — Early Tuesday, Southeast District officers responded to a call regarding a common assault in the 2000 block of McElderry Street.

During the investigation, officers discovered and seized a loaded handgun from the 24-year-old male suspect, who did not have a valid handgun permit.

The suspect was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with the appropriate offenses.
