Baltimore Police Arrest Suspect for Illegal Handgun

BALTIMORE, MD – Southeast District officers arrested a 24-year-old male suspect for a handgun violation early on June 18.

At approximately 12:17 a.m., officers responded to a common assault call on the 2000 block of McElderry Street. During the investigation, officers discovered and seized a loaded handgun from the suspect, who did not have a valid permit.

The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with the handgun violation.
