NYC Police Investigating $650,000 Park Avenue Jewelry Heist

NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD is on the hunt for a suspect involved in a high-stakes burglary at a Park Avenue jewelry store. The incident, which occurred early in the morning on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, resulted in the theft of approximately $650,000 worth of jewelry.

According to reports, the burglary took place at around 4:26 AM at a commercial establishment located at 430 Park Avenue, within the confines of the 18th Precinct. The suspect forcibly entered the store and swiftly removed a significant amount of jewelry before fleeing the scene in a black Volkswagen Jetta.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build, standing approximately 5′ 11″ tall. He was last observed wearing a black bucket hat, a black and red jacket, black pants, and black sneakers. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident.

The NYPD is actively seeking information from the public to help identify and locate the suspect involved in this brazen theft.
