Philadelphia Police Seek Suspect in Bicycle Theft

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Central Detective Division is calling for public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a recent theft. The incident occurred early in the morning on Wednesday, June 13, when an individual unlawfully entered the rear gated area of a residence on the 1000 block of Waverly Street.

At around 5:07 AM, the suspect stole a silver SEB bicycle and was last seen fleeing in an unspecified direction. Authorities have provided a description of the suspect: a Black male, who had earrings in his left ear, and was dressed in a gray hat, orange shirt, white shorts over black pants, and blue and white sneakers.

The police urge anyone with information about this incident or the suspect’s identity to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
