Shooting on Market Street Leaves Man Critically Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man, estimated to be between 20-30 years old, was critically wounded in a shooting incident on Market Street. The victim, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.

The shooting occurred on Monday at about 3:55 PM on the 4000 block of Market Street. After the incident, the injured man was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in a private vehicle, where he is currently in critical condition.

Authorities have not yet identified a motive for the shooting and no arrests have been made. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is leading the ongoing investigation into the incident.
