15-Year-Old Charged as Adult in Pennsylvania Shooting

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department has arrested 15-year-old Albert Pittman of Natrona Heights in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Harrison Township. The arrest followed a shooting reported on June 17, at approximately 5:27 PM, in the 200 block of Park Avenue, where an adult male was critically injured.

The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, was promptly transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in critical but stable condition. Following the incident, Harrison Township Police enlisted the help of the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit to manage the investigation.

Utilizing witness statements and surveillance footage, detectives were able to swiftly identify Pittman as the suspect. He has been charged as an adult with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and illegal possession of a firearm by a minor.
