One Dead in District Heights Shooting

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – A fatal stabbing in District Heights is under investigation by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit. The incident claimed the life of 45-year-old Terence Savoy, a local resident.

On Tuesday evening, at about 6:20 PM, police were called to the 6100 block of Old Silver Hill Road following reports of a cutting. Upon arrival, officers found Savoy on the ground, showing signs of severe bodily trauma.

Savoy was quickly transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities are actively seeking to identify suspects and establish a motive behind the killing.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is responsible for investigating all homicides within the town of District Heights.
