North Bergen Police Show Up For Late Sergeant’s Daughter at Graduation

This past Friday was a poignant moment for the North Bergen Police Department as they witnessed Kayla Vazquez, daughter of the late Sgt. Alexander Vazquez, graduate from Kinnelon High School. In a touching display of solidarity, Lt. Edward Moyano, Sgt. Brian O’Neill, Sgt. Gregory Costanza, Sgt. Erick Rodriguez, and Officer Saray Durango stood by Kayla’s side as she received her diploma.

Kayla is not only a distinguished student but also an accomplished athlete, having earned the title of NJ State Champion in wrestling. Her achievements have led her to commit to continuing her wrestling career at Lehigh University, where she will compete at the Division I level.

The North Bergen Police Department proudly congratulates Kayla on her graduation and extends best wishes for her continued success in both her academic and athletic endeavors.
