Police Investigating Stolen Licence Plate in Wilkes-Barre

A theft from a motor vehicle was reported in Wilkes-Barre on June 19th, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m. The incident occurred on New Grant Street where a 41-year-old white male from Wilkes-Barre discovered that his vehicle’s license plate had been stolen.

The victim reported to the City Headquarters that the license plate (PA ZWB-4852) was removed by an unknown suspect while the vehicle was parked near his residence. The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department is currently investigating the theft.
