Two Suspects Charged in Fatal Stabbing in District Heights

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – Detectives from the Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit have charged two suspects in connection with the fatal stabbing of 45-year-old Terence Savoy. The suspects, 54-year-old Franklin Mackall Jr. and 52-year-old Carlson Mackall, both from Suitland, have been charged with first-degree murder and related charges.

On June 18, 2024, at approximately 6:20 PM, officers responded to the 6100 block of Old Silver Hill Road following reports of a cutting. Upon arrival, officers found Savoy on the ground with trauma to his body. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects attacked Savoy during an argument. The parties involved were known to each other.

Franklin Mackall Jr. and Carlson Mackall are currently in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
