Fatal Pedestrian Collision Investigated in Howard County

Howard County Police are currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on the morning of June 20th, in which a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Woodstock. The collision took place at approximately 8:43 a.m. on the 10500 block of Dorchester Way.

A 2017 Toyota Corolla, traveling north, hit an adult male who was standing next to a parked landscaping vehicle. The victim was urgently transported to Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
