Large Brush Fire Extinguished Near New Jersey Turnpike

Secaucus Police Department has announced that a large brush fire near the New Jersey Turnpike marsh area between exits 15X and 16E has been successfully extinguished as of 4:45 PM today.

Officers report that there is currently no threat to structures in Secaucus. Residents and motorists in the area may notice smoke and ash due to the fire’s proximity. Authorities advise against calling 911 unless there is an immediate need for police, fire, or EMS services. Thank you for your cooperation.
