Multiple Drug Traffickers Arrested in Boston

BOSTON, MA – Three suspects were arrested for drug trafficking following an ongoing investigation by the Boston Police Department’s Drug Control Units. The arrests occurred at approximately 10:40 AM on Thursday, in Boston. Jansel Castillo, 24, of Roslindale, Luimi Mejia German, 24, of Dorchester, and Juan Mota, 24, of Jamaica Plain were taken into custody.

During the execution of search warrants in the Roslindale, South End, and Allston/Brighton districts, police recovered 83 grams of Fentanyl, $383 in cash, and items typically used for drug trafficking such as plastic bags, a digital scale, and cutting agents. The search targeted a location at 4347 Washington Street.

All individuals arrested face charges of Trafficking of Class A and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A substances. Additional charges of Distribution of Class A were levied against Castillo and Mota.

The suspects are scheduled for arraignment at West Roxbury District Court. The police operation highlights a significant effort to curb drug trafficking activities within the community.
