Teen Girl Arrested for AirPod Theft At Queens Center Mall

QUEENS, NY – A 17-year-old male was arrested on charges of fourth-degree grand larceny on Friday morning at 8:30 AM, within the confines of the 110th Precinct. The arrest follows the New York City Police Department’s ongoing efforts to crack down on theft-related crimes in the area.

On Thursday, June 6, at approximately 4:00 PM, an unidentified suspect forcibly stole Apple AirPods from a 17-year-old female as she was walking to the Queens Center Mall at 90-15 Queens Boulevard.

The suspect then fled on foot. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
