Deadly Stabbing Inside Manhattan Subway Station

MANHATTAN, NY — A tragic incident occurred on Friday, June 21, at the 175 Street and Fort Washington Subway Station where a 40-year-old man was fatally stabbed. The victim, identified as Johnny Medina of 720 West 172 Street, Manhattan, suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 5:55 PM following a 911 report of the stabbing within the jurisdiction of the 33rd Precinct and Transit District 3. Upon their arrival, officers found Medina critically injured. Emergency Medical Services promptly responded, transporting him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing, and the police investigation is ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to help in apprehending the perpetrator.
