Young Man Killed in D.C. Early Morning Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A tragic incident occurred early Thursday morning, resulting in the death of a young man in Northeast.

At approximately 3:21 a.m. on June 20, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 4400 block of Hunt Place, Northeast. Upon arrival, they found a man in the roadway with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Marcellus Jackson of Northeast.
