Genesee County Woman Wins $100,000 in Michigan Lottery Second Chance Drawing

Dollar bills background. Pile of american money cash. One hundred usd dollars banknotes. Financial and economic crisis

GENESEE COUNTY, MI—A Genesee County woman was left speechless after winning a $100,000 prize in the Michigan Lottery’s 500X Money Maker second chance game. The 54-year-old, who opted to remain anonymous, secured her windfall from a random drawing held on May 28.

The winner earned entries by scanning non-winning 500X Money Maker tickets using the Michigan Lottery app. “I scanned a lot of 500X Money Maker tickets for the drawing,” the player recounted. Her disbelief at winning was so strong that she contacted the Lottery office for confirmation after receiving an email notification of her win. “It’s still hard to believe, but it’s starting to sink in a little bit being at the Lottery office claiming my prize!” she said.

Having recently claimed her prize at Lottery headquarters, she plans to invest her winnings, ensuring a potentially secure financial future.
