Do You Recognize Him? Police in Philadelphia Seeking to Identify Burglary Suspect

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police in Philadelphia’s Central Detective Division are calling for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted commercial burglary in the 22nd District. The incident occurred early in the morning on June 18, around 5:05 AM, at two businesses located on the 2800 block of Dauphin Street.

Although the suspect failed to enter either business, significant damage was inflicted on the security gates. The individual, described as an unknown male, was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket with a distinctive silver zipper, dark pants, and dark sneakers. He was also carrying a crowbar and a notable backpack at the time of the attempted burglary.

Anyone with information that could lead to the identification of this suspect is urged to contact the Central Detective Division.
