Suspect Arrested After Shooting in Albermarle County

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – Early Sunday morning, emergency services rushed to the scene of a shooting in the 3200 block of Boonesville Road. The Albemarle County Police and Fire Rescue Departments responded to the incident following a report received at 7:54 AM.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered an adult victim with a gunshot wound. The injured individual was quickly transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in serious condition.

Authorities have described the shooting as an isolated event. Currently, one suspect has been apprehended in connection with the incident.
