Triple Stabbing in NYC’s East Village Leaves One Dead

NEW YORK, NY – Police responded to multiple stabbing incidents on Sunday at approximately 5:43 PM in the vicinity of Avenue A and East 14th Street, within the 9th Precinct.

Upon their arrival, officers found three individuals with stab wounds. A 38-year-old male was critically injured with a stab wound to the neck and was later pronounced dead at NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue.

Additionally, a 51-year-old female, stabbed in the leg, is listed in critical condition, and a 32-year-old male, stabbed in the back, is in stable condition.

A 30-year-old male suspect was arrested at the scene, where a cutting instrument was also recovered. The name of the deceased has not been released, pending family notification.
