Teaneck to Test Emergency Notification System Alarm Wednesday Morning

TEANECK, NJ – The Teaneck Police Department announced that on Wednesday, June 26th, at 10:00 AM, the township will conduct its annual testing of the Mass Notification Public Warning System. This system includes 11 siren towers positioned strategically across the municipality.

Residents should anticipate hearing a loud siren or tone, which will be followed by either a pre-recorded or live message. The testing is scheduled to last for approximately 15 minutes.

Authorities have reiterated that this event is merely a routine test and there is no cause for alarm.
