Teen Shot Multiple Times Dead In D.C.

Washington, D.C.—Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Southeast D.C. on Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 2:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of 37th Place, Southeast. Upon arrival, they found a man on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Jerry Hardy III of Southeast D.C.

Metro Police Department offers a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
