D.C. Police Search for Suspect in Shooting

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are seeking help from the public to locate a suspect involved in a recent shooting.

Early on Sunday, June 9, at 2:43 a.m., officers responded to a shooting report in the 1900 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest. Upon arrival, they found a woman with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was recorded by a surveillance camera, and images have been released to aid in identification.
