Boston Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect in Child Assault Case

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Police Department has issued a community alert, requesting public assistance to identify an individual linked to an indecent assault and battery on a child. The incident occurred early on Thursday, June 6, near the intersection of Wainwright St. and Centre St in Dorchester.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, possibly in his 30s, with a medium build and short brown hair, including a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and was carrying a backpack and a plastic shopping bag.

Detectives from the Sexual Assault Unit (SAU) are diligently investigating the circumstances of the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
