Double Shooting at Philadelphia Party Leaves Two Wounded

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Early on Friday, 26th District Police were called to a shooting at 21XX N Fairhill Street, where they found two male victims, aged 16 and 18, with gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 12:35 a.m. The 16-year-old was shot in the chest and buttocks, while the 18-year-old sustained a wound to the buttocks. Both were rushed to Temple University Medical Center and are currently in stable condition.

Authorities believe the shooting happened during a party in the area. The victims reportedly heard gunshots and were injured while attempting to escape the scene.

The police are searching for two suspects, both described as thin-built Black males. One was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a mask, blue gloves, and black shoes, and was armed with a handgun. The other suspect wore a similar outfit but had white shoes.

No arrests have been made as of now. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear. Philadelphia’s Shooting Investigation Group is leading the ongoing investigation into this violent incident.
