Burglary and Assault Reported on South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, PA — Early Friday morning, an incident of burglary and assault occurred on South Franklin Street. Sean Weston, 37, from Wilkes-Barre Township, was arrested in connection with the incident.

The Wilkes-Barre City Police responded to a call at 3:08 AM regarding a domestic dispute at a local residence. The 33-year-old female victim reported that Weston had unlawfully entered her home through a window and assaulted her.

Despite her demands for him to leave, Weston refused, leading to his arrest. He was subsequently transported to City Headquarters for processing.
