Dog Found Tied to Light Pole on Southern State Parkway

New York — Early morning on July 1st, New York State Troopers were called to a section of the Southern State Parkway Westbound near Exit 21, where a female white Mastiff was discovered tied to a light pole. The incident occurred around 5:30 AM.

The dog, found with a leash, a food bowl, and a note beside her, has prompted the New York State Police to seek assistance from the public. Anyone who may have witnessed the event or has information related to this incident is urged to contact the Troop L New York State Police at 631-756-3300.
