Police Seek Information on Unsolved Murder of Teen in Allegheny County

Homestead, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department is calling for public assistance in the unsolved homicide case of 16-year-old Dominic Sanner. Dominic was fatally shot on May 5, 2023, around 11:30 PM, at 134 East 17th Avenue in Homestead.

Upon their arrival, Homestead Police discovered Dominic between two homes with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit took over the investigation, suggesting that Dominic was in a yard at a friend’s house when he was shot.

Detectives are urging anyone with information, regardless of how minor it may seem, to come forward. Tips can be shared anonymously via the Allegheny County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
