Fatal Shooting in Harlem Under Investigation

HARLEM, NY—Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting on Tuesday afternoon in the area of West 118th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard. Upon arrival at approximately 1:39 PM, officers found a 37-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his back. Emergency services quickly transported the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation by the 28th Precinct continues. Authorities are seeking information from the public to assist with the case.
