Teen Found With Gun During Arrest in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A juvenile was arrested by members of the Northern District Action Team on the evening of July 1, during a police operation in Baltimore. The incident took place around 7:04 p.m. in the 3700 block of Oakmont Avenue.

Detectives were conducting an investigation when they encountered the 17-year-old male suspect. During the interaction, a handgun along with ammunition was recovered. Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged according to local laws.

The Baltimore Police Department continues to address gun-related incidents involving youth, emphasizing community safety and legal enforcement. Further details on the charges have not been disclosed.
