Wilkes-Barre Hotel Trespasser Arrested for Outstanding Warrants

WILKES-BARRE, PA—A 56-year-old Wilkes-Barre resident, Anthony Osticco, faces multiple charges including resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance following an incident at a local hotel. The arrest occurred early Tuesday morning at approximately 3:57 AM on Kidder Street.

Wilkes-Barre City Police responded to reports of a male trespassing at the hotel. Upon interaction, officers discovered Osticco had an outstanding warrant from the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Office. When they attempted to arrest him, Osticco resisted and tried to flee.

A subsequent search revealed narcotics on Osticco, leading to his arrest and transportation to City Headquarters for processing. He was then moved to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. The incident is recorded under IRC number 240139335.
