Juvenile Arrested for Carjacking in Baltimore

Baltimore, MD — The Baltimore Police Department has announced the arrest of a 15-year-old male in connection with a recent carjacking in the Southwest District.

On Wednesday, at approximately 9:55 a.m., Southwest District officers were patrolling the area of Smallwood and McHenry Street when they identified a parked vehicle that had been reported stolen in a recent carjacking incident. Officers observed an unidentified male entering the driver’s side of the vehicle. The officers promptly stopped and arrested the 15-year-old suspect without incident.

The juvenile suspect was subsequently transported to the Juvenile Detention Center for processing.
