Major Roadway Closure on Main Street in Freemansburg

Freemansburg, PA – Main Street in the Borough of Freemansburg will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, July 8, 2024, due to construction activities.

The closure will impact travel between Bethlehem Township and the Rt. 412/I-78/Hellertown area. Construction work includes the replacement and repair of public water and natural gas services. The project is expected to continue into October 2024.

PennDOT has approved road closure and detour plans, which will be implemented to manage the traffic disruptions. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and expect delays during this period.
