Man Attacked While Waiting for Subway Train at St. Nicholas Station

NEW YORK, NY—The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying an individual involved in an assault incident at the West 125th Street and Saint Nicholas Subway Station. The incident occurred within the confines of the 26th Precinct/Transit District 3 on Wednesday at around 9:05 a.m.

A 72-year-old man was punched in the face by an unknown assailant while standing on the station’s mezzanine, causing him to fall. The assailant then fled the scene. Fortunately, the victim sustained only minor injuries and declined medical treatment.

Anyone with information or who recognizes the individual from the attached media is encouraged to contact the NYPD to aid in the investigation.
