Teen Charged With Illegal Gun in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD—On Wednesday, at approximately 4:15 p.m., detectives from the Citywide Enforcement Team (CWET) observed a male exhibiting signs of being armed in the 2400 block of Cold Spring Lane. Upon attempting to approach him, the male fled on foot but was apprehended after a short chase.

A 19-year-old male was arrested, and officers recovered a handgun during the incident. The suspect was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing.
