Baltimore Police Arrest Suspect in Stolen Public Works Vehicle

Baltimore, MD – On July 5, 2024, at 9:52 AM, Central District patrol officers located a stolen Department of Public Works vehicle that had been taken from Montebello & Harford Road.

Officers tracked the vehicle to the 400 block of Mura Street. Upon arrival, the suspect parked the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. After a brief pursuit, the suspect re-entered the DWP vehicle in an attempt to escape. Officers successfully apprehended the 29-year-old male suspect.

The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing. Further details on the incident and charges are expected to follow.
