Forceful Robbery in D.C. Leads to Arrest of Young Woman

WASHINGTON, DC – A woman has been arrested following her involvement in a robbery in Northeast Washington, as announced by the D.C. Metro Police Department. The incident, characterized by force and violence, occurred on the morning of Thursday at around 8:04 a.m. in the 700 block of 15th Street, Northeast.

The events began when the suspects approached a victim, requesting money. After the victim complied, one suspect attempted to sell her a cell phone, leading to both suspects assaulting the victim and fleeing with her money. Latanya Daqueshia Tinsley, a 20-year-old from Northwest D.C., has been charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).
