NYPD Reports Fatal Stabbing of 52-Year-Old Man in Harlem

NEW YORK, NY — The New York Police Department is investigating the fatal stabbing of 52-year-old David Burns, who was found on Thursday, July 4, at approximately 9:11 p.m. in front of 220 West 136th Street, within the 32nd Precinct.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a male stabbed at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered Burns, of 2660 8th Avenue, with multiple stab wounds to his chest and right arm. He was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
