MIDDLETOWN, PA – A Powerball ticket worth $1 million from the Wednesday, July 3 drawing was sold by a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in York County. The winning ticket, purchased at Royal Farms located at 933 Broad St. in Delta, matched all five white balls (2-26-33-55-57) but missed the red Powerball (22).
The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the million-dollar ticket. As per lottery rules, the identity of the winner will remain confidential until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
In addition to the million-dollar ticket, over 25,200 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won various prizes in the same draw. Notably, a jackpot-winning Powerball ticket, worth an estimated annuity value of $139.3 million, was sold in Ohio. This follows a rolling jackpot that began on June 10 with a win of $222.6 million in New Jersey.
