Columbus Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

Columbus, OH – Detectives from the Columbus Division of Police are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery that occurred on May 3, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM in the 2300 block of West Broad Street.

The suspect, described as a black male approximately 5’9″ tall, weighing around 200 pounds, with a short fade-style haircut, and estimated to be between 20-24 years old, entered the business and went behind the counter. Presenting a handgun, he demanded cash from the registers and also took the purse of a customer standing in line, while pointing the gun at her. After committing the robbery, the suspect fled through the rear door into an alleyway.
