Man Stabbed Multiple Times During Assault in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, PA — The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated assault incident that occurred on the evening of Monday, July 8th. Officers responded to an emergency call at the intersection of Moyallen Street and High Street at approximately 8:51 PM.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 24-year-old male victim from Wilkes-Barre who had sustained multiple stab wounds to his shoulder, wrist, and back. Despite the severity of his injuries, the victim was uncooperative with the responding officers. He was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing is ongoing as authorities seek to determine the perpetrator and motive behind the attack.
