Two Injured in Philadelphia Shooting on Green Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A shooting incident in Philadelphia’s 9th District resulted in two men being injured on the evening of Wednesday. The incident took place at approximately 6:13 PM on Green Street.

A 26-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the right ankle, and a 23-year-old male suffered a graze wound to the buttocks. Both victims were transported to Jefferson Hospital in Center City by private vehicle and are reported to be in stable condition.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered related to the incident. Philadelphia Police’s Special Investigation Group (SIG) is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
