Woman in Critical Condition After North Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A shooting in North Philadelphia has left a woman critically injured. The incident occurred on Tuesday at around 9:54 PM at 21xx N Camac Street. Responding officers from the 22nd District found the victim, a 40-year-old Black female identified only as “Jane Doe,” with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim suffered gunshot injuries once in the chest, twice in the left flank, and once in the back. She was quickly transported by the officers to Temple Hospital, where she is currently listed in critical condition.

As of now, the scene has been secured by Philadelphia Police. No weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
